David graduated from Longwood University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.  He went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Cyber Security from University of Maryland University College in 2013.  In addition to his degrees, David also holds the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification.  After graduating from Longwood University, David joined Northrop Grumman’s Cyber Security Operation Center (CSOC) and worked there for 8 years.  At the CSOC, David served as a Network Forensic Analyst, Incident Response Analyst, and, finally, as the Incident Response Lead.  David now serves as a Senior Incident Response Analyst for Northrop Grumman supporting the National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center (NCCIC)’s Hunt and Incident Response Team (HIRT) at the Department of Homeland Security.  He has been supporting HIRT for 1.5 years.  In this capacity, David’s duties include managing a team of six incident responders, conducting digital forensic investigations, and performing network analysis.
