Casey Kahsen

Northrop Grumman

Casey has over 7 years of experience in digital forensics and cyber operations. He has been supporting the Department of Homeland Security with Northrop Grumman for over two years. During this time he has supported projects including cyber hygiene and threat reporting, automated indicator sharing (AIS), and the development of next generation incident response kits and their capabilities. He is currently serving as an incident response contract team lead for the NCCIC Hunt and Incident Response Team (HIRT). Casey is also an adjunct instructor and course developer at Champlain College where he develops and delivers both Master’s and Bachelor’s level courses in digital forensic science and network security operations. Prior to these roles Casey was an instructor of digital forensics and network security for the University of Northwestern Ohio. Casey holds a Bachelor’s degree in digital forensic science from Defiance College (Ohio) and a Master’s degree in digital forensic science from Champlain College (Vermont). He also holds three professional certifications from GIAC in digital forensics (GCFA), reverse engineering of malware (GREM), and incident handling (GCIH).
